Milani Cosmetics is on the lookout for a talented
Copywriter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create impactful and engaging copy that captivates our audience and embodies the spirit of the Milani brand. Your writing will play a key role in our marketing strategies, encompassing everything from product descriptions and advertisements to social media content and email campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling copy for product descriptions, marketing campaigns, and other promotional materials
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to craft cohesive brand messaging across all platforms
- Research industry trends and target audiences to develop relevant and engaging content
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to refine and improve copy strategy
- Adapt tone and style to fit various marketing channels while maintaining brand integrity
- Lead the highest editorial standard for all copy and ensure that it conforms to the evolving Milani brand voice, follows appropriate editorial style guidelines and is strategically optimized across channels
- Establish editorial processes & organized copy documentation to ensure brand and channel collaborators' content meets business objectives and campaign goals
- Product copy: Naming, messaging, packaging copy, PDP pages, infographics
- Visual merchandising: In-store displays & activations globally
- Marketing: Deliver taglines and campaign concept copy, write copy for all marketing collateral including but not limited to ads, emails, landing pages, social posts
- Video: Write scripts, both on-screen text and VO
- Education: Partner with marketing on education copy needs
- Translations: Manages translations requests for the brand
- Work closely with the Creative Director and design team to ensure copy is correctly flowed into design and find integrated visual/copy solutions while aligning with brand strategy from Marketing partners
- Utilize project management tools such as Monday.com to manage project requests, progress, approvals, timelines, and ensure smooth workflow
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and messaging
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Portfolio of writing samples showcasing versatility and skill
- Skilled in optimized marketing copywriting, with a focus on researching and sharing relevant industry design trends for the brand category
- A demonstrated talent for expressing ideas clearly, creatively, and with subtlety across various formats and channels
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, along with outstanding grammar, editing, and proofreading proficiency
- Capable of clearly and persuasively communicating personal ideas, writing rationale, concepts, and creative strategies to both internal and external audiences
- Understands Gen Z and Millennial audiences and the cultural narratives that resonate with them.
- Stays current on beauty industry trends, social trends and competitors.

Compensation
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000.00.
