Our client is looking for a Logistics Manager for a 12-month contract in Washington, DC 20003

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse management role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with asset management and inventory control procedures.
- Understanding of quality control protocols and non-conforming material handling.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Current forklift certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and maintain efficient (existing) warehouse processes to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate records.
- Implement and monitor (existing) quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of products.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Motorola Solutions Service organization, Project
- Management, and the customer, to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
- Manage and implement (existing) procedures for receiving, storing, and distributing non-conforming materials.
