J41 Directorate Human Resources Technician (Senior)

On-site: HQ SOCCENT, MacDill AFB, FL | Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Job Purpose / Summary

Provide senior administrative and DTS travel support to the J4 directorate and commander's action group, ensuring compliance with federal travel regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee the activities of the commander's action group, calendar, schedule, and travel management.
• Serve as the DTS technician, processing travel authorizations and vouchers in DTS and legacy systems in compliance with the JTR and DoD FMR Vol. 9.
• Examine and verify travel authorizations, vouchers, and supporting documentation for adequacy, legal propriety, and completeness.
• Support ODTAs, reviewers, and approving officials; resolve DTS problems and coordinate with the government travel program manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education and experience: MA/MS in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, or Systems Analysis; JPME Level II or Service equivalent / advanced military education (SAMS, JAWS, Service War College); at least 5 years of strategic and operational planning and analysis; at least 3 years of experience in one of the specialty areas (CENTCOM AOR, MISO, MILDEC, CWMD, ORSA, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, or Interagency); OR an equivalent combination of at least 10 years of SOF operational experience and education.
• Proficiency in DTS and legacy travel systems.
• No travel required for this position.
