Agrosmart
Brazilian agri-tech firm founded in 2014, offering climate intelligence, real-time monitoring and smart irrigation to farmers across nine countries.
Agrosmart is a Brazilian agricultural technology company founded in 2014 that has built what it describes as the largest climate intelligence platform in Latin America. The company provides real-time climate monitoring, agronomic intelligence and smart irrigation management, alongside data analytics, environmental and financial intelligence, and ESG monitoring. Its stated aim is to help producers run more efficient operations while reducing environmental impact across the agri-food value chain.
The scale of its operations is substantial. Agrosmart reports serving more than 100,000 farmers across 48 million hectares, supporting over 90 crops, and operating in nine countries. Its product line includes BoosterAGRO, a free collaborative network app for producers; BoosterPRO, a climate-smart platform with irrigation management; and an ESG Platform for tracking environmental, social and governance indicators in agricultural supply chains. Technical work spans climate and agronomic modelling, irrigation optimisation, data analytics and supply-chain sustainability reporting.
The company was founded by Mariana Vasconcelos and co-founders who come from rural producer families, and it presents a mission-driven focus on making food production more efficient, sustainable and climate-resilient. Emphasis is placed on transparency and efficiency across the agri-food value chain, and the provision of a free collaborative product points to a community-oriented approach to serving producers. Headquarters are in Brazil, with operations across Latin America.
