Meta, Program Manager (AI/ML/CV & XR Tech) - Menlo Park CA
Job Description:
Meta is seeking a Program Manager to join their team in Menlo Park CA! In this role you will help in building the next generation of immersive experiences powered by the latest in Generative AI, Machine Perception and Computer Vision. This position will work with leadership and collaborate with researchers, engineers, and product teams to understand what capabilities are on the technological horizon and manage programs for internal testing and partnerships with third party developer ecosystems. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with executive leadership and technical teams to innovate and deliver advanced immersive experiences powered by the latest in Generative AI, Machine Perception and Computer Vision
- Manage program operations for product workstreams and internal testing in emerging technologies in the AI/ML/CV and XR space
- Coordinating with internal teams for pipeline of prototype experiences and manage scheduling with various TPMs
- Partner with our comms team to provide content and context for org-wide touchpoints & leadership processes including internal communications (Q&A, All-Hands, posts and emails)
- Build a user engagement program for testing, development and research of prototype experiences across multiple locations.
- Coordinating with internal teams for pipeline of prototype experiences and manage scheduling with various
- You will assist with program management, operations and communications for product workstreams related to computational mapping, contribute to strategic projects and programs for internal and external facing programs and partnerships.
- Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams, serving as the first point of contact for any program-related requests, inquiries, and action items that fall under your purview
- Coordinating with various site-leads and conducting bi-weekly syncs
- Maintaining a leaderboard for participants and announcing top performers at org-wide events
- Coordinating with external vendors for Swag and comms support
- Assist on various ongoing strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 4-8 years program/project management experience within technology companies
- Experience overseeing program operations for AI/ML/CV and XR project initiatives
- Excellent communication, capable of speaking to large audiences, hosting workshops, and similar events related public speaking engagements
- Experience working effectively with people of all levels, including executives, both within and outside of their organization
- Skilled at setting up programs and operationally efficient
- Able to shift priorities quickly and to act proactively, while maintaining organization and control
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality and using discretion is essential
- Strong project management, communication and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to juggle a range of tasks
- Proven track record handling highly confidential information
Preferred Requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional projects at an AR/VR company
- Prior experience in producing tech conferences or large technology focused events
Job Type: Contract (Up to 2 years)
Location: Menlo Park CA
Hourly Pay: $70.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
