Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project documentation, and assisting in the planning and execution of project tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management
- Assist in managing project budgets and schedules
- Support compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management or as an Assistant Project Manager
- Knowledge of construction processes, drywall installation and/or MEP systems are a plus!
- Experience in healthcare construction projects is preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
