Responsibilities:
Our client, a multinational telecommunications technology company has an urgent and immediate need for a Data Scientist with strong statistical modeling, data analysis, machine learning tools, and SAS. The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights that drive strategic business decisions.
This will be a long-term contract and requires you to be onsite at least 3-days per week. The position can be staffed at one of our client's locations in Plano, TX / Alpharetta, GA or Chicago, IL preferably.
Responsibilities:
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve business problems and improve campaign or operational performance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data science use cases and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through visualizations, presentations, and reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- BS Degree in a STEM field
- Minimum 5 years as a Data Scientist exp.
- Experience working with large volumes of structured and unstructured data using tools such as Python, SAS Viya, SQL, and big data platforms.
- Statistical modeling, data analysis, Machine learning tools, SAS.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
