The Opportunity
We’re looking for a nimble and design-obsessed Freelance Graphic Designer to support our Creative team with a range of marketing assets. This is a unique opportunity to grow alongside a brand that blends heritage and innovation. Projects may include digital and print assets across email campaigns, social media, paid media, packaging, in-store signage, brand presentations, and event materials. You'll report to our Chief Brand Officer and collaborate closely with our marketing, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to help bring the Olive Ateliers world to life. This is a freelance opportunity, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Design digital assets including email layouts, paid ads, social graphics, and web banners
- Create printed materials such as invites, menus, in-store collateral, and signage
- Support the team with visual presentation materials, brand decks, and moodboards
- Prep print-ready files and maintain organized file systems across creative channels
- Ensure all assets align with Olive Ateliers’ visual identity and brand guidelines
- Assist with photo editing, retouching, and layout refinements as needed
- Translate creative direction into polished, on-brand design deliverables
- Offer thoughtful design ideas that contribute to a distinct and elevated brand presence
- Help bring structure and clarity to our visual identity - organizing and refining our existing logos, fonts, and color palette into a more cohesive system as we grow
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in graphic design (freelance, agency, or in-house)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, and Google Workspace tools
- Strong eye for layout, composition, and typography
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects at once
- Interest in interiors, vintage aesthetics, or lifestyle branding is a major plus
- Bonus: basic retouching or light copywriting skills
What We’re Offering
- Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience and skillset
- Type: 1099 Contractor, project-based (10–15 hours/week average, flexible based on workflow)
