Job Summary:
iHeartMedia is a mass media company that provides a range of multiplatform advertising and marketing opportunities. In this role, you will focus on building and evaluating machine learning models to derive insights from data, driving intelligence for the company and its clients.
Responsibilities:
• As an Associate Data Scientist you will work on building/evaluating learning models to predict core business results.
• You’ll derive impactful insights from data to drive intelligence for Unified and its clients.
• You will work with your fellow data science team members to define and scope data science solutions to solve complex problems.
• You will help build, improve, and test robust statistical and machine learning solutions that will drive impact throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2-5+ years experience building Machine Learning models
• 2-5+ years advanced programming skills in Python
• 1-2+ years LLM prompt engineering and RAG experience
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of RDBMs like Postgres and Redshift
• Experience with ETL processing and data wrangling including fetching, munging, cleaning, pivoting, analyzing, aggregating, distributing, and visualizing
• Basic knowledge of statistics, algorithms, data structures, and machine learning
Preferred:
• Experience with digital advertising technology
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Spark and the big data ecosystem
• Experience using Git and the Unix command-line
• Familiarity with Airflow and Docker
• Familiarity calling RESTful web services, specifically social APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Sisense)
• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field
