Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules
- Support the project budgeting process and monitor expenses
- Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project delivery
- Help prepare project documentation and reports
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and budgeting techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with commercial and interior construction projects
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
