Success Profile:
The Production Associate will assist seamlessly with the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The Production Associate will also run quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting to: Production Manager
Brand/Product Focus: Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, BCBG
Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage daily correspondence with overseas factories with production manager
- Liaise with design, technical design, and traffic departments as needed
- Maintain and monitor time and action calendars and production WIP charts
- Track and follow up on all production orders to ensure timely execution
- Ensure on-time bulk deliveries and communicate any updates
- Coordinate with traffic and update booking
- Review and approve/comment on shipping marks, packaging layouts, and related materials
- Customer requirements: create/maintain manuals on packaging, labels, garment shipments (US, BTB, Canada Mexico); review existing manuals for updates/corrections and distribute as needed; send G-III shipping guidelines/forms; follow up and answer all questions regarding customer requirements, labeling, ticketing pertaining to manuals
- Assist in maintenance of chart to track fit, PP, TOP’s from each factory: enter Fit/PP/inline samples daily, pass to Tech and place samples with respective tech designers, log customer sales samples into chart and pass to sales team
- Responsibilities/ tasks assigned by leadership/managers
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field
- 2-4 years of prior experience in apparel production
- Strong project management skills
- Detail and task oriented
The pay range for this position is: $31.25 per hour/$65,000 per year - $33.65 per hour/$70,000 per year (Annualized salary is based on a 40 hour work week)
