E-commerce Dropship Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
E-commerce Dropship Specialist to manage our daily operations on Walmart and Target’s online marketplaces. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire dropship process — from product listing and inventory sync to order fulfillment and customer service — ensuring a smooth and scalable operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Operations:
- Manage day-to-day operations for Walmart and Target marketplace accounts.
- Ensure all listings are accurate, optimized, and compliant with platform requirements.
- Monitor and resolve any listing errors, suspensions, or violations.
Order & Fulfillment Management:
- Process and monitor dropship orders from placement to delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle order exceptions, backorders, and cancellations promptly.
Inventory & Product Data Management:
- Sync and update inventory levels daily to avoid overselling.
- Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and availability.
- Collaborate with suppliers or use software tools to automate feeds where possible.
Customer Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve post-purchase issues (returns, replacements, tracking updates).
- Maintain high performance ratings and low defect rates on all platforms.
Reporting & Optimization:
- Track performance metrics such as order accuracy, shipping times, and marketplace KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Stay updated on Walmart/Target marketplace policy changes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in e-commerce operations, preferably with Walmart and/or Target marketplaces.
- Strong understanding of the dropshipping model and third-party logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with marketplace portals (e.g., Walmart Seller Center, Target Plus).
- Experience with order/inventory management tools (e.g., ShipStation, ChannelAdvisor, Ecomdash, or similar).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary $70,000
