Join Dr. Barbara Sturm, a globally renowned skincare brand celebrated for its science-driven innovation and commitment to clean beauty. As Assistant Manager, E-Retail, you’ll be instrumental in accelerating our U.S. digital growth by driving brand presence, conversion, and customer acquisition across leading luxury e-retailers, including Amazon Luxury Stores, Bluemercury, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Global, Sephora, and Dermstore.
This role spans the full digital funnel—from performance analysis and merchandising execution to content optimization and creative strategy—ensuring a seamless and premium brand experience across all retailer platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance & Digital Strategy
• Analyze key performance metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, basket size, sell-through) to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor competitive activity and trends across digital channels to inform benchmarks and optimize strategy.
• Support campaign reporting and post-launch performance reviews to guide ongoing strategy.
• Contribute to acquisition efforts across digital marketing touchpoints, including content, copy, CRM, sampling, social, and paid media.
• Provide product and category insights to shape future merchandising strategies across retail partners.
Merchandising & Brand Storytelling
• Execute on-site merchandising and brand storytelling across e-retailer platforms, including the Amazon Brand Store.
• Conduct weekly site audits across priority retailers to ensure excellence in visual execution and content.
• Support the timely and consumer-centric rollout of new launches and seasonal activations.
• Collaborate with Amazon and internal teams to align on U.S. content and promotional calendars.
• Leverage AI tools and keyword research to enhance search visibility and organic traffic on Amazon.
Creative & Content Management
• Develop creative briefs that reflect brand voice and align with campaign objectives.
• Coordinate creative needs and timelines in accordance with the global marketing calendar.
• Manage visual asset delivery to meet specific retailer requirements and deadlines.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to uphold a consistent, elevated brand identity across channels.
Retailer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Serve as a key liaison for internal teams and external retail partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate omni-channel strategies, including promotions, sampling initiatives, and exclusive activations.
• Align closely with Sales, Marketing, Social, and Global DTC to deliver a best-in-class consumer journey.
• Contribute to strategic presentations and U.S. channel development planning.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, retailer.com, or digital marketing (luxury beauty/skincare preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon and key prestige beauty retailers (e.g., Bluemercury, Sephora, Nordstrom, and Saks Global).
• Strong analytical mindset with a firm grasp of e-commerce KPIs and performance metrics.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital tools; experience with Amazon Seller Central and Adobe Photoshop a plus.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
• Passion for skincare, luxury beauty, and digital innovation.
Compensation:
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000.00 - $80,000.00.
