This role is a key contributor in the growth of Marvel’s publishing business priorities including subscription (MU), and key front list/collection titles. This position will partner with the Director of Acquisition & Retention to develop assets, track deadlines, and execute acquisition campaigns across paid media, CRM, affiliate, and partner channels.
Responsibilities:
Paid Media
- Create campaign briefs and track asset development to ensure timely launch of acquisition campaigns across growth channels via paid media agency.
- Internal lead for in-house campaign set up across growth channels. This includes building estimates, monitoring performance, and reporting. Campaigns services supporting:
- Internal LOB partners (Marvel HQ, Sales/partnerships)
- Print publishing priorities
Partnership/Affiliate Marketing
- Oversees asset creation deliverables, timelines, creative review and approvals processes for co-marketing promotions
- Leads asset development and content calendar updates to provide affiliate marketing partners steady pipeline of opportunities for growth and brand spotlighting.
- Key partners include:
- Apple and Google Play
- Marvel Unlimited affiliate marketing program
- Analytics
- Partner with BI and media agency teams to evaluate performance and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
Operations
- Assist with monthly invoicing process for paid media/marketing expenses.
- Partner with Lifecycle and Guest Experience managers to build process for campaign tracking/information sharing with internal and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in performance marketing Experience with campaign operations on key paid media channels including Meta, Tiktok, Amazon, Google, and Apple.
- Ability to project manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with project management software (such as JIRA)
- Strong creative instincts with an eye towards concept development for performance marketing.
- Experience with Adobe analytics suite or comparable analytics platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and an extraordinary attention to detail.
- Dynamic problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional internal teams.
- Strong communication and writing skills, comfortable communicating across all levels.
- A fan of Marvel, and lover of comics is a plus
The hiring range for this position in New York is $61,500.00-$82,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
