Our client, an international contract manufacturer supporting customers in multiply verticals, is looking to bring on a Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize their end-to-end supply chain strategy across North American operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a supply chain team (4 direct and 30 indirect reports) across purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and production planning.
- Oversee raw material sourcing, forecasting, and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted plant operations and customer delivery.
- Manage direct and indirect spend in excess of $100MM annually, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance.
- Create and implement KPIs, dashboards, and process improvements to optimize material availability, delivery performance, and inventory accuracy.
- Champion supplier evaluation processes, contract negotiations, and cost-containment strategies in alignment with business goals.
- Support all audit and compliance initiatives with a focus on ISO and related regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in supply chain or materials management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, production scheduling, and raw materials procurement.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, RFQs, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, especially Excel, and experience developing reporting dashboards.
- Industry certifications such as CPIM, CSCP (APICS), or CPSM (ISM) are strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of building and mentoring teams, setting strategic direction, and delivering measurable supply chain performance improvements.
Additional Details
- Location: 100% on-site. No remote or hybrid options.
- Compensation: Total first-year earnings expected between $165K–$195K, inclusive of base and performance-based bonus. After two years, employees are eligible for an additional 15% profit-sharing program.
