Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager III in Reston, VA.
Key Tasks:
- IT Project Manager III will be responsible for the performance projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Manages project through the design, implementation and testing phases in accordance with project objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
- PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
- 5-10 years of progressive IT experience and 5+ years of PM experience
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (i.e. Microsoft Project)
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects similar in scope and complexity to the project requirement
- Ability to resolve technical issues
- Ability to manage, coordinate and guide a project team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
