Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager (non-IT) in Chicago, IL.
Key Tasks:
- Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the management/execution of project(s)/program
- Manage initiatives intake process
- Ensure chosen projects/programs are aligned to business priorities, goals, and expected ROI
- Manage scope, issues, risks, and critical path activities through a partnership with key stakeholders (within Finance, digital technology, and other cross functional workgroups)
- Create and manage integrated project schedule, budget, constraints, and dependencies
- Track/monitor deliverables, milestones, and benefits are met
- Proactively manage key program activities, resource requirements, and projects interdependencies
- As a Senior Project Manager, you will report the performance of initiatives to the project team, stakeholders, and leadership
- Establish governance and actively engage stakeholders
- Develop business case as needed
- Coordinate activities in communication, change management, and training planning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of solid experience in the management of projects/programs management experience at the enterprise level
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously under the umbrella of a program on the business side
- Led cross-functional of complex projects/programs greater than $2M+
- Highly organized, strong management skills, and ability to multi-task competing priorities
- Excellent active listening skills and self-awareness
- Process improvement and/or management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations
- Ability to conform to shifting demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred:
- PMP
- Green Belt/LSS
- Exposure to Agile, Smartsheet
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
