Assistant Project Manager MEP
Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager MEP will support the project management team in overseeing and coordinating MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. This role involves assisting in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing MEP projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in budgeting and cost management for MEP projects.
- Conduct site inspections to assess project status and quality control.
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders including clients, vendors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience in MEP project management or a related role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
