Title: Director of Supply Chain
Location: Greater Phoenix Area
Salary: $150-170k plus bonus potential
Company Profile: A leading consumer goods company is looking to add a Director of Supply Chain Management to their team. This person will be responsible for managing all elements of the supply chain to provide adequate finished goods inventory to meet customer demand in a high growth company. This position will lead, teach, and motivate a team to procure, produce, and stock inventories in a professional cGMP environment
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing procurement by assessing suppliers with structured evaluation process and managing inbound 3PL relationships
- Review and improve physical controls, including safety requirements
- Work with marketing and R&D to create and improve primary and secondary packaging, taking into account product appearance, ease of production, inventory controls and fulfillment activities
- Ensure data is integrating in ERP system and review production and purchasing requirements generated by MRP
- Streamline current processes to improve efficiency and enhance focus on core QC activities
- Evaluate expanding outbound 3PL to include all of DTC in the US
The Director of Supply Chain should have the following qualifications:
- Well rounded in both Supply Chain Management from the ground up as well as strong hands-on experience and an engaging leader
- Experience with scheduling, MRP, production, planning, and direct manufacturing experience (not just 3PLs)
- Experience within the beauty/CPG industry
- Entrepreneurial type of background to help scale small businesses into a larger business
- Experience designing and implementing the strategic direction of Supply Chain preferred
- Experience with e-commerce orders/shipping/supply & demand
This is a full time permanent position that will be on site 5x a week based in Chandler, AZ.
