What You Will Do
We are seeking a motivated and organized part-time Event Coordinator to assist with planning, coordinating, and executing various events across the region. The Event Coordinator will work closely with our internal team with admin duties and on site, in market to ensure events run smoothly and meet company and client objectives. This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of events, staffing, recapping and logistics for region, as needed.
- Communicate with management to understand event objectives, needs, and priorities on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate event logistics through management of storage unit(s), receiving and organizing POS, kit management and delivery, as needed.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, in order to spot-check events in market, assist with training, etc.
- Support managing event budgets, assisting with weekly expense submissions and MSC management.
Qualifications: - Previous experience in promotional events is preferred. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office and event management software. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the event schedule.
WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities for different brands at the same time
- Familiarity with market areas and accounts catering to the pack consumer
- Be willing to travel to assigned market areas when needed
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership ability, and independence
- Have strong oral, written, verbal, problem solving, and motivational skills
- Have the ability to gather information, analyze information and report key insights with recommendations for solutions.
- Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on the event schedule.
- Be open to working a varied weekly schedule; nights and weekends consistently
- Work Hours** This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Availability for evening and weekend events is required.
