Create is hiring a
Vice President of Operations to architect and scale a world-class operations function. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building a best-in-class supply chain, optimizing logistics, driving retail and omnichannel operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The VP of Operations will lead and grow a cross-functional team and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain: Own and evolve our global supply chain—from sourcing and procurement to manufacturing and distribution. Drive efficiency, resilience, and scalability.
- Retail & Omnichannel Ops: Build and lead operational systems that support Create's rapid retail growth. Ensure seamless planning, forecasting, fulfillment, and inventory management across national retail partners (e.g., GNC, Wegmans) and marketplaces like Amazon.
- Product Development: Partner with Brand, R&D, and external manufacturers to bring new products to market quickly and with quality. Manage timelines, budgets, and testing across stages.
- Logistics: Optimize our fulfillment network, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed and reliability across DTC, retail, wholesale, and 3PL partners.
- Customer Experience: Lead CX to ensure every customer touchpoint—DTC, retail, and beyond—is seamless, proactive, and brand-right. Build systems and processes to scale support while increasing satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, manage, and mentor a high-performing ops team. Set clear goals, measure performance, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Strategy & Execution: Own operations KPIs. Translate company strategy into scalable, repeatable processes. Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics, ideally in high-growth CPG, DTC, or wellness companies
- Proven leadership of cross-functional teams with P&L accountability
- Experience building and scaling operations from early stage to maturity
- Analytical and systems-oriented thinker; fluent in tools, data, and process optimization
- Strong communicator and collaborator—can align teams, manage vendors, and influence at the exec level
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; thrives under pressure
