This is a high-impact leadership role—not a back-office post. You’ll oversee a fast-moving terminal that services a global client. Success in this role requires poise under pressure, strong data and Excel skills, and the ability to lead with clarity and urgency.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day terminal activities focused on safety, on-time delivery, and service reliability
- Lead a large, performance-driven driver and support staff operation
- Act as the primary interface for a high-expectation customer, managing real-time issues
- Step into a critical leadership role with high visibility and day-to-day ownership
- Support hiring and talent decisions, particularly around frontline workforce needs
- Leverage Excel and performance data to track trends and drive smart operational decisions
- Identify operational gaps and implement practical, impactful solutions
- Represent the terminal with ownership, urgency, and professionalism
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or similar fields.
- 5+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Prior leadership experience managing terminal or fleet operations
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, dispatch, load planning, and issue resolution
- High comfort level with Excel and manual data management
- Cool-headed problem-solving and confident decision-making in time-sensitive situations
- Proven ability to lead high-accountability teams in performance-driven settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization
