Fulfillment Assistant Manager
The Fulfillment Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely processing of orders. This role works closely with the E-Commerce + Fulfillment Director to supervise pick and pack teams, coordinate workflow, monitor performance, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is in person in Doral, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily warehouse operations of the picking and packing teams.
- Help enforce inventory control practices and bin location accuracy.
- Monitor packaging material inventory levels and coordinate with the Warehouse Assistant Manager to reorder supplies as needed.
- Generate Replenishment Reports to assist Warehouse Associates in restocking empty pick bins.
- Support and supervise team leads and pick + packers to ensure fulfillment targets are met.
- Assist with reporting on team performance, order accuracy, and productivity metrics.
- Monitor order volumes and adjust labor allocation as needed to meet daily shipping goals.
- Train new team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and warehouse best practices.
- Ensure team compliance with operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot fulfillment issues (e.g., missing inventory, mis-picks, software errors) and escalate as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience in a fulfillment environment.
- 1-2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance team leadership and individual contributions.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive team culture.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Will be working in the warehouse.
- Understanding of WMS (ShipHero preferred)
