Job Description
BryceTech is looking for a
Business Analyst that will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing business processes, evaluating data, and providing insights to support innovation initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD). This position requires a keen analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to liaise between technical teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights that inform decision-making and drive process improvements within AFWERX projects and programs.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define scope, and translate needs into specifications for project teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains within existing workflows, and develop recommendations for implementation.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create clear and concise reports and visualizations to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Project Support: Assist project teams in defining project goals, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, data analysis, and project requirements to support knowledge sharing and future initiatives.
- Training and Support: Provide support and training to stakeholders on data analysis tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a government, defense, or technology environment.
- Knowledge of AFWERX initiatives and the innovation ecosystem within the DoD.
- Business Analyst certification (e.g., IIBA, CBAP) is a plus.
Specialized Tool Experience: Strong proficiency in data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
Additional Information
Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
This position is subject to contract award.
