The GOVX Inbound Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time non-exempt position responsible for overseeing the completion of receiving shipments of warehouse inventory and customer returns. In addition, their duties include preparing schedules, managing Warehouse Associates, and monitoring compliance with safety standards.
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time exempt position; typical work hours and days are Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch. **Training will take place on a Monday - Friday Schedule**
Responsibilities
- Support in overseeing daily activities of the warehouse inbound duties, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and reverse logistics
- Assists in ensuring the warehouse team maximizes efficiency and minimizes overtime
- Meet regularly with the Warehouse Manager to review, analyze, and develop actionable productivity and loss prevention plans
- Reinforce training initiatives for employees with the guidance of the Warehouse Manager
- Support with outbound freight shipments, communicating with carriers to ensure efficient delivery of packages
- Supports auditing warehouse inventory and resolving discrepancies weekly or as needed. Communicating with other departments to promptly solve inventory inquiries.
- Assist with maintenance of business reporting and manipulate reports as needed to identify and settle warehouse inventory discrepancies
- Track changes in inventory and report them to appropriate stakeholders monthly
- Assist in monitoring and replenishing the warehouse and shipping supplies when needed
- Assist in auditing and training the team on the disposition of items that are returned to the warehouse through reverse logistics
Working Conditions
This job operates in a professional environment subject to state and local health ordinances. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as computers, scanners, pallet jacks, and U-boats.

Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees
- CSCP/CSCM preferred
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Team player with thorough attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems. Experience with NetSuite WMS is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and maintain accuracy while multi-tasking
- Exhibits excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, leadership qualities, making informed decisions, and interpreting data
- Proactive, positive attitude and demeanor focused on diagnosing and resolving issues
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
Travel Requirements
Minimal (less than 5%) travel is expected for this position.

Pay Range
$62,400.00 - $64,480.00 annually
