Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Vice President of Distribution to oversee all aspects of our warehouse, shipping, logistics, and order fulfillment operations. This role is critical to ensuring our customers—from large retail chains to individual consumers—receive their Warmies on time and with exceptional accuracy and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all distribution operations at our East Dundee facility, including warehousing, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment
- Develop and execute scalable distribution strategies aligned with company growth and seasonal demand cycles
- Oversee inventory accuracy, storage optimization, and efficient pick/pack/ship processes
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships where applicable
- Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and throughput
- Ensure regulatory compliance with safety, labor, and environmental standards
- Build and lead a high-performing team, with a focus on training, development, and retention
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to align distribution with broader company goals
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain leadership
- Prior experience overseeing direct-to-consumer (DTC) and retail fulfillment operations
- Proven ability to lead warehouse operations at scale, ideally in a high-volume, consumer products business
- Strong understanding of WMS systems and data-driven decision making
- Hands-on leadership style with a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred
