Azul Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Associate to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes and policies, supporting employee lifecycle activities, and maintaining compliance with employment regulations. What You’ll Do (aka Responsibilities)- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience in an Azulian’s employment life-cycle.
- Oversee the North America payroll processes and procedures of job-related changes to Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly and monthly payroll.
- Assist with benefit administration of our US benefit programs including but not limited to conducting benefit orientation, managing relationships with our US benefits providers, providing assistance with enrollment and inquiries, and helping with timely filing of required annual tests within our benefit programs.
- Handle employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll, escalating issues as needed.
- Manage employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Assist in the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with senior HR team members to design and improve HR processes in helping to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize HR technology solutions, including, but not limited to BambooHR and Lever
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement, performance management and development programs.
- Stay updated on labor laws and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide recruitment support, specifically Talent sourcing activities by utilizing various sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean searches, to identify potential candidates for key openings.
What You’ll Bring (aka Qualifications):- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically in Bamboo HR and ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work well independently and as part of a team requiring limited direct supervision
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary for this job in California is $75,000. Individual base salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our benefit package includes medical and dental coverage, equity participation plan, 401(k) plan, and a wide range of paid time off options.
In accordance with California law, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role.
