Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $85,100 - $92,500 per year.
Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Position Overview:
The Content Project Manager is part of our vision to pioneer the future of sports and entertainment. Content is at the core of our business. Through a variety of channels and formats, we want to tell our story to deepen relationships with current fans and attract new, diverse audiences to the Sharks, expanding beyond the tradition hockey fan. We also need to use content to support revenue generation and business growth. We are much more than a hockey team and that will be reflected in an array of high-quality content produced by our talented creators. Managing several concurrent content series, projects, and requests by collaborating across the organization, this role will be instrumental in executing our content plan. They will manage large content projects and day-to-day content request workflows. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, adept at bridging the gap between the content group, stakeholders and various departments while efficiently managing expectations and timelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple content projects simultaneously, including but not limited to episodic series, social media initiatives, and sales campaigns
- Manage project timelines and expectations to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
- Facilitate communication between leadership, Content and Marketing groups, and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations
- Contribute to developing the annual content plan and understand the roadmap to fulfilling the plan based on timing and resources
- Understand content requests and how they connect and complement existing content plan
- Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying potential bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Monitor content plan progress and provide regular status updates
- Ensure all deliverables meet SSE’s high standards for quality and brand consistency
- Implement and maintain content workflow via project management tools and processes to improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience working in content, creative, or production project management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Creative eye and an understanding of how content is developed
- Experience in sports or entertainment a plus
- Experience with Asana or other similar project management platforms a plus
- An excellent written and verbal communicator that is comfortable sharing ideas across functions, and to different levels of the organization
- A strong advocate for process and project management
- Knowledgeable about industry trends and have the ability to serve as a subject area expert

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
- Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
- Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
- Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
- Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
- May be required to travel to other company locations
- May be required to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations.
