Job Summary
We are seeking a senior-level UX/UI Designer with strong visual design, interaction design, and copywriting skills to help define and execute a world-class user experience for a new iOS Safari application. The ideal candidate has experience designing consumer-facing iOS apps, understands Apple Human Interface Guidelines, and is comfortable navigating the design demands of a fast-moving, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-fidelity, visually appealing, and consistent user interfaces for an iOS Safari app and extension.
- Use existing Google Material Design systems while tailoring visuals for iOS-specific needs.
- Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Design intuitive navigation flows, user journeys, and onboarding experiences.
- Simplify complex processes (like Safari extension installation) through user-centered flows.
- Craft clear, concise, and engaging microcopy for buttons, onboarding flows, error states, and help documentation.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years experience designing consumer-facing iOS apps (experience with Safari extensions highly preferred).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, and UX copywriting.
- Expert proficiency in Figma (other tools like Sketch, Adobe XD are a plus).
- Comfortable working autonomously and making critical design decisions with minimal supervision.
