Relate Search has partnered with a global leader in the Food & Beverage sector to identify an exceptional Vice President of Procurement. This executive position plays a pivotal role in developing and executing a world-class procurement strategy within a high-growth, fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Vice President of Procurement will oversee strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, category management, risk mitigation, and cost optimization across all direct and indirect spend areas. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and collaborative leader with deep experience in global procurement operations, preferably within the dairy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the global procurement strategy aligned with corporate goals, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the supply base.
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, instilling a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with suppliers, fostering innovation, reliability, and sustainability.
- Oversee strategic sourcing for raw materials, packaging, CAPEX, and indirect spend categories, with a focus on quality, delivery, and cost.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, and finance to align procurement strategies with broader business objectives.
- Drive supplier risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply and regulatory compliance.
- Lead negotiations, contracting, and vendor performance management across global and regional suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience, with a strong track record in dairy, food, or consumer goods industries.
- Deep expertise in sourcing raw materials and packaging in a manufacturing environment, ideally in dairy or perishable goods.
- Proven experience leading global supplier negotiations, cost reduction programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of procurement systems, contract law, and supply risk management.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and matrixed organization.
