Job Description: Position Summary:
The Recruiting and Administrative Assistant will provide vital support to the HR and Recruiting functions. This role will assist with candidate tracking, interview coordination, onboarding activities, administrative tasks related to employee records, and general HR support. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Recruiting Team with posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
- Assist with tracking candidates through the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintaining accurate recruiting records
- Help prepare offer letters, new hire paperwork, and onboarding schedules
- Maintain HR files, employee records, and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Assist with benefits administration support tasks during open enrollment and onboarding periods
- Support HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and compliance updates
- Respond to general HR and recruiting inquiries with a focus on professionalism and confidentiality
- Assist with organizing recruiting events, career fairs, and internal employee events as needed
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the HR and Recruiting teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus
- 0–2 years of experience in an administrative, recruiting, or HR support role (internships or related work experience acceptable)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within the HR field
Preferred Experience (Not Required):
- Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (e.g., JazzHR, BambooHR, Rippling) is a plus
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, or HR Administration
