Phillips Foods is currently seeking an experienced Foodservice Sales Manager based in the Baltimore-Washington area. The qualified applicant will possess significant experience and knowledge regarding food sales in the Mid-Atlantic Region (MD, DC, VA); experience selling swimming crab or other seafood is desirable. The person in this position will be responsible for growing profitable sales through existing and new customer accounts by representing our line of crab and seafood value-added products within the Foodservice community (end-users/distributors, local chain-restaurants). The Regional Sales Manager will set the sales strategy and manage both internal and broker sales teams in the region.

REQUIREMENTS
- Food sales experience is a must, crab/seafood experience is desirable
- Demonstrated 3-5 years direct selling experience to Foodservice Distributors
- Sales staff and Broker management experience
- Self-starter who can excel in an independent environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to think “on your feet" in high pressure sales situations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills-Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly ethical
- Strategic and innovative thinker yet is comfortable with numbers
- Hold self and others accountable to timelines and deadlines
- 50 - 75% travel is required

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000 plus quarterly commission payments (20% of salary is targeted commission); travel allowance, medical, dental, vision, disability insurance as well as 401(k) w/company match, plus 3-weeks of paid time off.
