What you will be doing:
- Responsible for planning and executing events that range from small, off-site board meetings to large educational forums.
- Work with vendors to manage and update organization’s website and other communications including media involving the FAIR Plan to provide regular tracking and analysis to key business stakeholders.
- Responsible for overall day-to-day administrative functions of the office, i.e. phone, mail, office supplies, etc.
- Work with Executive Director and board to develop annual budget. Track and maintain incoming and outgoing expenses. Issue invoices, event registration fees and receipts as required. Manage and track bank deposits, withdrawals and transfers.
- Create, update, and maintain databases/files.
- Maintain and form new relationships with vendors and periodically assess and improve contracts and service.
- Assist with HR functions including payroll, job postings, insurance, etc.
- Develop general correspondence, reports, agendas, schedules and other documents.
- Design and develop materials, invitations, and online communications. This may include working with outside vendors and stakeholder groups.
- Execute other responsibilities and provide support to the Executive Director and SVP as needed.
What you bring:
- College degree or equivalent skills and experience. Minimum 3 years work experience required.
- Creative, energetic, and techno-savvy with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements. Expertise in QuickBooks or other financial management systems.
- Excellent diplomatic and interpersonal skills with a steady, calm demeanor, sensitive emotional intelligence, appropriate deference and respect and a pleasant, upbeat approach.
- Demonstrated, positive, "can do", service-oriented approach to interactions.
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets; excellent knowledge & proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a minimum of supervision, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Understanding of web design, web content best practices, and SEO. Ability to use Square Space or other web content management systems to develop, update online content.
- Understanding of social media best practices and content development.
- Demonstrated experience working with all levels of organizations.
- Graphic design knowledge, potentially including knowledge of Adobe (Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of Google Analytics.
