About the jobWe are seeking a Program Manager to join the Chief of Staff team and drive the business operations. You will be responsible for driving key initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and enable data-driven decision making. This role offers exposure to leadership and requires excellent communication skills.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage headcount operations, from allocation and planning to creating Staffing Requests (SRs) and tracking hiring execution.
- Oversee Operational Expenditure (OpEx) and budget operations to ensure financial alignment with the organization's priorities.
- Lead early-career hiring programs, including the intern-to-Full Time Employee pipeline and other talent development initiatives.
- Identify and drive process improvements across the organization to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support the Chief of Staff on special projects and strategic initiatives
