The General Manager is a lead member of the management team who will oversee all warehouse duties; assist with the hiring and training of warehouse team members; and manage the organizational processes to improve the quality, productivity, and efficiency of the warehouse and team.

The General Manager will develop key operating systems, oversee inventory management and maintain labor expectations. This role will also be in charge of creating long-term relationships with our customers.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee facility staffing initiatives by guiding the ops managers through the recruiting, hiring, and training of team members.
- Set directions and goals for the operations of the warehouse with strategic planning; create action plans; improve productivity, quality control, and customer service standards; troubleshoot issues.
- Work with the Leadership team to prepare annual budgets, facility targets, and process improvement initiatives.
- Develop operating systems by determining product handling procedures, storage requirements, and shipping/ receiving processes.
- Continue to improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, networking events, and staying current with related professional publications.
- Manage all department managers, team leads, and team members - compensation, hours, schedules, absences, etc.
- Communicate all operating policies and/ or issues to appropriate managers and team members.
- Gather and review data to communicate opportunities and issues to the leadership team.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- MUST have 5+ years experience as a Manager
- MUST have 5+ years of experience of inventory and warehouse management
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Great attention to detail and highly organized
- Self-motivated and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven communication and time management skills
- Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
- Ability to be on your feet all day and work in extreme temperatures
- Requires a high level of physical activity
- Being bilingual is a plus!
