Customer Success Manager – Sports Technology
Our client is seeking a Customer Success Manager to support some of the top sports organizations and universities across North America.
This role is based in Philadelphia metro area, reporting directly to the VP of Customer Success. You'll work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment, helping to deliver exceptional experiences to our growing customer base.
The Role:
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of NCAA Conferences, individual college athletic programs, and other sports organizations. You’ll be responsible for customer success across multiple products, with a focus on onboarding, implementation, training, renewals, and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Onboarding & Training: Guide new customers through implementation and initial product training to ensure a smooth start.
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage complex implementations across departments and stakeholders.
- Renewals: Proactively engage clients to ensure high retention and renewals.
- Sales Support: Partner with the sales team on trials, handoffs, and go-to-market strategies.
- Account Growth: Identify opportunities to maximize product usage and expand client value.
- Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across sports organizations.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Customer Success or Account Management (preferably in sports tech or SaaS)
- Background in the sports tech industry or collegiate/pro coaching experience
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and detail-focused
- Self-starter with a collaborative, team-first attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Passion for customer success and helping teams succeed
- Bonus: Former athlete or experience working in competitive sports environments
