Position Information
We are seeking a highly creative and organized Associate Manager, Social Media to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will be responsible for producing and curating high-performing content across social media platforms, managing community engagement, and supporting our broader brand and communications initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, a sharp eye for visual content, and a solid understanding of social media trends and analytics.
Position Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Scheduling
- Produce, curate, and schedule engaging content specifically tailored for Instagram Stories and other key channels.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all platforms.
- Feed Planning & Creative Support
- Assist the Social Media Manager with Instagram feed planning, ensuring aesthetic and messaging alignment.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Coordinator to develop and refine copy, video, and photo assets for social distribution.
- Community Management
- Oversee daily community engagement across social media platforms.
- Monitor trends, respond to comments and messages, and proactively engage with our online audience to foster a strong digital community.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Use Dash Hudson and other analytics tools to track and analyze content performance.
- Generate regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Trend Monitoring & Strategy
- Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Identify and implement new tools and creative strategies to strengthen our online presence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the PR Manager to integrate influencer partnerships and collaborator content into the broader social calendar.
- Partner with the marketing, creative, and retail/sales teams globally to ensure social media aligns with ongoing campaigns and business objectives.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience in Social Media or similar type Marketing role, preferably in a the luxury beauty industry.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (i.e. Dash Hudson).
- Strong understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media algorithms.
- Exceptional communication, copywriting, and editing skills with an eye for design and aesthetics.
- Experience with graphic design or video editing tools is a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
