Summary of Position: Assistant Project Manager
Real Estate Development Firm is seeking a Asst. Project Manager to engage in a leading role with New Development projects that have recently commenced. The APM will have direct engagement with ownership, project Architect and project SPM. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of ground-up development projects in NYC’s most active development areas.
Responsibilities:
- Perform take-offs, create and issue bid packages, and maintain the bid list
- Compile all the information required to make award recommendations.
- Work with the estimating and project team to buyout the Construction Trades.
- Review and comment on scopes and bid proposals
- Prepare and manage Letters of Recommendation and Letters of Intent
- Generate, review, and manage logs for all RFI’s, Submittals, and Change Orders
- Manage all other pertinent logs such as long lead, insurance, permits, inspections, etc.
- Compose and issue meeting minutes for sub, OAC, field meetings.
- Obtain and analyze proposals from subcontractors for potential changes and change orders
- Coordinate RFI’s and Submittals with field superintendents and trade sub-contractors
- Work with Architect and real estate team to implement design idea concepts with project sub-contractors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 1-3 years of full-time experience as a technical specialist in one or more construction and design related fields is REQUIRED.
- Must be proficient in the following construction project software
- MS Office Project,
- Blue Beam
- Procore
- CAD (Required)

- Compensation will be commensurable with the applicant’s experience.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
