Job Title: Data Scientist - Palantir Foundry Engineer (Palantir Certification)

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a skilled and results-driven Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data storytelling, and has worked in collaborative environments using platforms like Palantir Foundry for deployment and data exploration.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and data engineers to translate real-world problems into scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy predictive models and statistical analyses to address key business problems.
- Perform feature engineering, model selection, tuning, and evaluation across structured and unstructured data.
- Work in cross-functional teams to frame problems, identify data needs, and deliver actionable insights.
- Use Palantir Foundry for accessing, transforming, and collaborating on data-driven solutions.
- Build visualizations and reports to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models and monitor performance in production.
- Document methodology, assumptions, and decision logic for transparency and reuse.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on applied machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Proficient in Python and commonly used ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, etc.).
- Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, time series analysis, and evaluation metrics.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with large datasets.
- Prior exposure to Palantir Foundry for model deployment, data wrangling, or collaboration workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting results to business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry experience in insurance, finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, and Git-based collaboration workflows.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or native Foundry dashboards.
