Position: Fulfillment Supervisor
Location: McDonough, GA
Schedule: Monday-Thurs, 6:00am-4:00pm
The Opportunity:
Our team at Horizon Group USA is looking for a talented
Fulfillment Supervisor to support our Distribution Center onsite in McDonough, GA. This role will supervise hourly associates and satisfy the timely order fulfillment to over 1,000 retail customers.

Job Overview:
The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fulfillment process, including order processing, picking, packing, and returns in a high-volume fulfillment warehouse. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders while meeting compliance and quality standards set by major retailers like Walmart and Amazon. The supervisor will lead a team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of the order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently to Walmart, Amazon, and 1000+ other customers.
- Monitor, maintain compliance and ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a timely and accurate hand-off of completed orders to ensure accurate and efficient execution to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all orders have the correct labels, barcodes, and ASN (Advance Shipment Notifications) required to meet the fulfillment guidelines and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with shipping standards and carrier guidelines (Walmart, Amazon, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Conduct any necessary value add services to inventory as per customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot shipping label issues, delivery failures, or tracking anomalies.
- Monitor and achieve productivity targets for fulfillment operations.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, workflows, and team needs simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven eCommerce, production and picking/packing environment.
- Work closely with inventory control teams to ensure stock levels are accurate in ERP, WMS (Warehouse Management System), and other related systems and documents.
- Address inventory discrepancies and collaborate with inventory control, and data analytics teams for reporting.
- The ability to perform tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to small but important details, ensuring processes are executed correctly, data is accurate, and errors are minimized.
- Conduct audits to ensure packaging, labeling, and documentation meet retailer specifications.
- Uphold all records, correspondence, and documentation to dispute chargebacks as needed.
- Manage and adjust order flow based on carrier pickup times, priority orders (e.g., same-day, express).
- Supervise and mentor a team of employees (both full time and temporary).
- Ensure OSHA, safety, and compliance regulations are followed in warehouse operations.
- Adherence to HR compliance and records keeping for time and attendance.
- Other tasks assigned by manager.
Key Deliverables/KPI’s:
- Maintain daily fulfillment deadlines
- Warehouse Efficiency: Ecommerce/Production/DSDC (picking/packing)
- Retailer Compliance: Chargeback reduction and Compliance with retailer shipping guidelines/standards.
Skills and Qualifying Experience:
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in a warehouse or Distribution Center environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role required
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a team, and foster a positive and productive work environment required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) required. Advanced Excel skills are a plus
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards required
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners required. Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a core schedule of Mon-Thurs 6a-4p (onsite) with flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed/during peak.
