Logistics Analyst
Summary:
The Routing Analyst is responsible for Routing, Truckloading, and Tracking Delivery Vehicles while monitoring DOT Compliance, Productivity, Safety, and assisting local management on identifying areas of improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily Routing and Truck Diagramming activities in most efficient and effective manner
- Support wholesalers with logistical aspects of distribution including but not limited to annual routing scenarios, nightly routing, nightly truck loading strategies
- Responsible for client’s wholesalers (WOD) along with their individual projects simultaneously.
- Work closely with Operations, IBS, Business Service Center, and Sales teams to understand needs and benefits for all departments.
- Develop presentations and effectively communicate results and recommend action plans to executive level management
- Provide continuous support on the software via phone, email, onsite trips and remote support sessions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results that exceed expectations
- Communicate with various software vendors (VIP, Roadnet)
- Work with wholesalers to create potential cost saving scenarios to reduce time, money, territory overlap while aligning with the company initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or IT
- Prior supply chain, logistics, and business or internship experience
- Strong communication, analytical, team problem-solving skills
- Advanced experience with Excel preferred
-Must be willing to work second shift (2PM-11PM) and Sunday through Thursday schedule
