About the Role
The Supply and Inventory Planner ensures product availability across all channels by translating demand forecasts into actionable supply plans and inventory strategies. This role manages purchase order execution, inventory deployment, and channel-level inventory health to support revenue, margin, and service goals for Ariat's multi-channel business.

- Converting approved demand forecasts into supply plans, considering lead times, MOQs, and vendor capacity
- Collaborating with vendors, sourcing, and factories to ensure timely production and shipment of inventory.
- Monitoring production status and align supply timing with product launch and delivery calendars.
- Optimizing inventory levels across DCs, channels (wholesale, retail, e-commerce), and product categories.
- Managing safety stock policies, reorder points, and replenishment strategies.
- Identifying closeout, excess and aging inventory risks; recommend mitigation actions (reflows, markdowns, transfers).
- Partnering with Retail, E-Commerce, and Wholesale planners to understand unique inventory needs and timing.
- Coordinating constrained product flow decisions and allocation priorities across channels.
- Maintaining visibility to in-transit and on-hand inventory and communicate key risks or delays.
- Managing inventory and supply data.
- Tracking key KPIs such as inventory turns, WOS, fill rate, and stock-to-sales ratios.
- Producing weekly and monthly reporting on supply health, service levels, and inventory performance.
- Working closely with Demand Planning, Merchandising, Logistics, and Sourcing to align on inventory priorities.
- Supporting S&OP by providing supply input, production constraints, and fulfillment timelines.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years in inventory or supply planning; apparel/footwear experience preferred.
- ERP systems experience (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and inventory planning tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and execution.

- On-time availability (fill rate)
- Inventory turnover and coverage (weeks of supply)
- Aging inventory percentage
- Service level vs. forecast

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
