Job Description
Sales Performance Consultant
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role will be based in our Sunnyvale, San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago offices.
This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about sales and skilled at leading change. We are looking for a Sales Performance Consultant to partner with senior Sales leaders and collaborate closely with Sales Operations and our Global Sales Enablement programs team to deliver transformational behavior change initiatives that improve business results.
As a Sales Performance Consultant, you will recommend ways to improve sales strategy, processes and performance. You are highly attuned to the Sales organization’s strategy and goals, acting as extension of its leadership team. Using both qualitative and quantitative analysis, you’ll uncover blockers in the sales process, skill gaps, and technology needs. With these insights, you’ll create strategic enablement plans to help sellers win more and save time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as key business partner to Director+ Sales Leaders to identify and solve business problems
- Conduct data-driven analysis to uncover knowledge, skills, technology, and operational process gaps
- Plan and execute enablement strategy that delivers quantifiable behavior change and business results
- Measure effectiveness and enablement ROI in partnership with Sales Operations
- Reinforce long-term behavior change in partnership with sales managers & leadership
- Innovate using enablement technology to monitor knowledge/skill gaps, surface wins and drive learning reinforcement (e.g., GONG, AI, etc.)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of combined sales, sales enablement, change management, or consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
- Exceptional executive communications skills with demonstrated ability to influence executives without formal authority
- Ability to navigate a complex, matrixed and fast-paced organization, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to roll out big programs or change management initiatives
- Deep behavior and/or technology change management experience
- Ability to perform robust data analysis including generating sales insights
- Experience with adult learning concepts and learning design concepts and tools, with demonstrated ability to build programs that are innovative and effective in driving business outcomes
- Program/project management skills, with an ability to own and lead an enablement program from end to end
- Resourcefulness in ambiguity – ability to self-solve when faced with challenges
- Ability to deconstruct complex problems, root cause the underlying drivers and offer solutions that are rooted in business priorities
- Command of an audience as demonstrated by facilitation and/or public speaking experience
- Fluency in ML / AI tools, specifically Sales Conversational Intelligence software, Learning Management Systems, AI Sales Enablement software, project management software, and MS Excel and PowerPoint.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $93,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
