- Strategic Leadership & Development: Develop and implement forward-thinking supply chain strategies to support growth and market presence. Inspire a high-performing team and strengthen supplier partnerships.
- Inventory Oversight: Manage stock levels to prevent shortages and surplus. Implement advanced forecasting and ensure robust inventory practices.
- Logistics & Transportation: Lead logistics teams to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee third-party logistics collaborations and manage private fleet distribution.
- Procurement & Sourcing: Formulate sourcing plans, negotiate favorable terms, and stay informed on global supply chain trends and regulations.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify supply chain risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and uphold safety and environmental standards.
- Continuous Enhancement: Drive process improvements using technology and data analytics, adopting industry best practices to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of ten years in supply chain management, with five years in leadership roles. Experience in manufacturing and distribution is advantageous.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, proficiency in supply chain software, analytical skills, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Physical Requirements: Occasional visits to distribution centers may be required.
