Warehouse Manager. In this role, you'll oversee the daily operations of a high-volume warehouse, leading efforts in product receipt, stocking, shipping, and ensuring flawless execution of customer orders. You'll also be responsible for managing key purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service every time. Responsibilities
- Manage and train the Warehouse Team at the respective Branch.
- Assist in staging, shipping, and receiving equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Ensure customers' orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Oversee execution of out bound freight shipments.
- Manage freight claims for damaged goods.
- Manage inventory control and assist in entering inventory into software system.
- Maintain accurate M/S, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.
- Ensure pick tickets are properly turned in for invoicing purposes.
- Manage receipt, inspecting, and stocking products.
- Maintain Warehouse Management System inventory accuracy.
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Skills Required
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Must have good interpersonal and phone skills to communicate and assist inside sales personnel and customers.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Pull and put away equipment on pallets or boxes using a forklift.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education And/or Experience Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience.
- 3 - 5 years of proven forklift experience.
