ChangeLine is looking for a full time
Project Manager at our Colorado Springs office who can bring structure without the stress, process without the rigidity, and accountability with a whole lot of heart. You’ll be a key player in some of the most important internal and external initiatives driving our organization’s systems and transformation work. What You’ll Do
Strategic Process Planning & Project Management
- Lead the lifecycle of complex, collaborative projects scoping, planning, tracking, adapting, and completing
- Co-create project plans with clear milestones, success metrics, and deadlines that don’t make people cry
- Translate big ideas into tangible tasks while keeping your eye on outcomes and momentum
- Anticipate risks and breakdowns before they happen, jumping in with solutions and prepared contingency plans.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines, keeping others on track and inline
- Translate messy or emergent processes into replicable models for future teams
Collaboration & Capacity Building
- Map stakeholders, identify key influencers, and maintain productive relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Assign and reassign work with clarity, care, and an eye toward strengths and capacity
- Step in and step up when things get murky helping teams untangle confusion to keep the work moving.
- Coach others through project planning in real time, building capacity while building deliverables
- Make project management feel like a gift by showing that structure doesn’t have to be rigid and stifling
Change Management & Communication
- Use human-centered, values-aligned change management to support communication and engagement
- Keep teams and partners in the loop with tools, updates, and messaging that makes sense
- Adapt language, format, and depth depending on who needs to know what, and when
- Anticipate, track, and communicate resource needs
Your Superpowers & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in project management, nonprofit management, public administration, social sciences, a related field, or a combination of formal education, training, and/or experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- 5+ years of experience managing projects in a start-up, nonprofit, systems change, community engagement, or similar fields
- 5+ years of experience with adaptive, flexible approaches to project management (e.g., Agile, hybrid, or light-structure PM methods)
- Bonus points for PMI-ACP, CSM, or other project/change management certifications
- Skilled in Asana (or similar tools like Monday, Smartsheet, Trello)
- Excellent communicator, facilitator, and motivator with a love for process that works for people
- Strong instincts for timeline creation, task delegation, risk navigation, and stakeholder wrangling
- Detail-oriented and strategic, flexible and structured, collaborative and independent
- Know when to push for progress and when to pause for people
- Can lead without formal authority and thrive in fast-moving, low-structure environments
- You have a strong sense of justice and get excited about the idea of joining an organization that works to build bridges to a more equitable future for all

- Salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $78,000 / annually depending on experience.
