Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- You must be a superb writer and editor.
- 7 years of experience in UX writing, information architecture, and content strategy for products used on a variety of devices
- Experience that includes most, if not all, of the items listed under responsibilities
- Figma skills
- A portfolio showcasing projects with clear, concise UX writing and content strategy artifacts. Case studies are a huge plus.
- An English or Journalism degree (desirable but not required)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading content design for both small and large projects
- Developing UX content strategy based on business requirements, including information architecture and user flows
- Conducting content audits, evaluating existing experience, and analyzing competitor experiences
- Delivering microcopy that meets design system standards
- Working with leadership, UX team, and project management to establish sprint deliverables
- Researching, evangelizing, and following best practices for UX content strategy and UX writing
- Collaborating closely with other UX designers, particularly interaction and visual designers, and UX researchers
- Tracking down answers from subject matter experts and other partners
- Building alignment between UX team members, product managers, and developers
- Meeting grade level requirements and creating content for non-native English speakers
