Los Angeles-based Project Manager, Events and Experiential
A Travel company is looking for a Project Manager with a focus on Events and Experiential for an upcoming brief.
Please note that this role is primarily office-based in West Hollywood.
The Events and Experiences team plans, designs and executes a highly strategic, best-in-class program of events and experiences in markets all over the world, aimed at both business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) audiences, delivering against specific business objectives whilst building connections, awareness and relevance for our brands and products.

What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans including timelines, roles and responsibilities matrix’s, meeting cadence, leadership reviews, status trackers and deliverables.
- Work closely with event management, event design and production and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure dependency alignment.
- Lead all project communication, including weekly project status meetings, weekly email status updates, hot sheets and all stakeholder communication.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
- Manage workstreams on large scale projects in collaboration with Sr. Manager, Project Management and Creative Project Manager.
- Identify process improvements and create implementation plans.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with different teams in the global comms org.
Who you are:
- 6+ years’ of marketing / communications / creative project management experience in-house at a brand, experiential/events company or brand marketing agency.
- Extremely proactive, always staying 2 steps ahead of the team and leadership’s needs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in creating detailed XL project timelines that ensure on time delivery but are flexible to avoid team burn out.
- Confident in owning meetings, steering leadership at all levels, and delegating action items across the team while maintaining a positive can-do attitude and ensuring team morale stays high.
- Experienced with advanced project management software, Smartsheet knowledge a plus.
