Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury home textiles to identify a Director of Distribution and Warehousing. The role will be extremely visible, reporting directly to the Company President. The role will have oversight over the company’s entire order-to-cash experience including: Order Intake, Validation, Release, and post-shipment service. Full Warehouse, Distribution, Freight/Vendor Negotiations and Continuous Improvement initiatives will also fall under the Director’s purview.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of distribution and warehousing operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain and inventory management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in logistics, distribution, and warehousing practices.
Analyze performance metrics and implement initiatives to meet and exceed operational goals.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in distribution and warehousing management, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management systems.
