We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join an industry leading, award-winning architecture firm dedicated to delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions. We are looking for Project Managers that have expertise with commercial, higher ed, civic, and/or healthcare projects to join a collaborative team that works to create lasting and impactful designs for the community.
The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders. Ensure alignment with client goals and firm standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, designers, contractors, and consultants, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently to meet financial objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly to keep projects on track.
- Quality Control: Ensure all deliverables meet design specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site visits and inspections as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Sustainability and Compliance: Promote sustainable design practices and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Masters Degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in an architecture firm
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or Procore).
- Knowledge of architectural design processes, construction methods, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
